MEET JASMINE

Beyond Amazing Donuts was created by Jasmine Macon. She is a school-educated pastry chef.

As a child, she had an insatiable appetite. Her Grandmother told her that she (Jasmine) ate a lot and that she would need to learn to cook for herself. So, Jasmine took an interest in cooking. In high school, Jasmine decided to pursue baking and eventually earned a pastry degree. Jasmine started making donuts in 2014.

More recently, she worked for Bayhaven Hospitality group at Leah & Louise where she was able to focus on her own recipes. More recently, she started selling donuts on her own through pop-up locations (including HEX Coffee at Camp North End in Charlotte).

In 2022, she met Dalton and Edgar with Raydal Hospitality Group, and they provided retail space for BAD Donuts and support for back- office company business management.She is honored to be recognized among top new Black pastry folks in the USA.
